The Milestone Thirty years is a long time in any industry, but in civil engineering, it’s measured in more than just years—it’s measured in the concrete, steel, and soil that hold our communities together. Malone/Wheeler officially celebrated our 30th anniversary, a milestone that represents thousands of successful projects and a lifetime of partnership.
From Two Desks to a Team of Thirty When we opened our doors in 1995, the tools of the trade looked a lot different. We relied on hand-drafting and local knowledge. While our technology has evolved from manual drafting tables to advanced 3D modeling and site planning, our philosophy has remained steadfast: Engineering is a people business.
Today, we are a proud team of 30. Each member of our firm—from our senior principals to our newest engineers, brings a unique perspective that allows us to tackle complex infrastructure challenges with a boutique, personalized touch. We aren't just a "consultant"; we are neighbors who care about the safety and efficiency of the environment we all share.
Our legacy isn't just the projects listed on our resume; it’s the relationships we’ve built with city planners, developers, and contractors who have become like family.
Looking to the Future As we look toward the next 30 years, we are leaning into the challenges of the modern world. From designing more resilient, sustainable infrastructure to adapting to the changing climate, our team is ready to innovate.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey. Whether you were our very first client in the 90s or a partner on a project today, you are the reason we continue to strive for excellence.
Here’s to the next chapter of building together.
